Ace Angler
A downloadable game
Take your Playdate and embark on a relaxing fishing experience!
Use the accelerometer to cast your line and crank to reel it back in. But be careful not to crank too hard or else your line might snap under the increasing tension!
This is a small scale release of Ace Angler, with five levels of fish difficulty and three unique fish to catch.
Massive thanks to Toad for the background and fish silhouettes and for helping play-test this game as it has evolved.

Just discovered this via the Playdate Squad Discord, but the latest version seems to be missing a main.pdz to play in simulator or on the handheld. I'm not yet ready to cast this aside -- fingers crossed for a fix!
Do you intend to add more content/fish?? 👀 The game is really amazing and I LOVE fishing games, thank you for making this!!
Thank you for playing!! I definitely want to expand the content side in a few months time with a raft of unique fish to collect and maybe some extra mechanics during the fishing part to help flesh it out a little more. Hopefully that version will release on Catalog 💜
